Beetleball contains many different playable beetles. Each beetle has two abilities and optionally a passive.

Each ability has its own cooldown. One can be used while holding a ball while the other can be used when not holding a ball (both using the Q button.)

The abilities of the beetle determine how its usually played. A beetle maybe have an ability that stuns which lets them disrupt enemy actions. They might have an ability that lets them go faster which lets them go across the field extremely quickly.

Roles

Each beetle has three roles to give an idea of their playstyle. You can use this to help you find what beetle you would enjoy playing. (All beetles are balanced so dont worry about which one is the "best'). Play what you enjoy playing the most. Heres a summary of what they all mean:

  • Offense - This beetle is strong when attacking
  • Defense - This beetle is strong when defending
  • Speedster - This beetle can go fast
  • Reverser - This beetle excels at turning the tides
  • Disruptor - This beetle disrupts enemy actions
  • Annoying - This beetle irritates its enemies
  • Waller - This beetle can make a wall
  • Trickster - This beetle can play mind games
  • Support - This beetle lends a helping hand
  • Striker - This beetle can score from a great distance
