its commonly used in forensic research.

off ball: it eats the exoskeleton of a nearby bug to make it get launched faster from headbutts and also maybe glide faster and headbutt further

on ball: it reduces the requirement of the held ball to become golden by 1 (so if its a 4 then it becomes golden, a golden becomes a smaller golden, a cracked golden becomes a regular golden, and anything else just reduces its required dung to become golden from 5 to 4)
