Cyborg beetle excels at defense, stopping advances towards the net and clearing balls away to the other side of the field.
On-Ball Ability: Thorax Thruster
Cyborg attaches a thruster to the ball, propelling it. When the ball changes direction or bounces, the thruster regains fuel. (30s cooldown)
You stay attached to the ball after use so it can be used to travel a large distance with the ball or you can back off to let it be cleared in a direction while you do some other thing. Ideally you want to aim for bounces or shooting the ball while the thruster is active in order to extend the time the thruster is active for and get maximum use out of it.
Off-Ball Ability: Bug Zapper
Cyborg charges itself, gaining temporary move speed, jump height and cyber-mods: (35s cooldown)
- Hold headbutt to scope. While scoped press grab to fire a laser that stuns balls.
- Press grab to blink forward.
This is useful to get to a location quickly and to stop fast moving balls using the stun. If an opponent uses a Tech to go quickly towards your net you can shut them down without needing to catch up to them.
