Dung beetle relies on having much more speed than other beetles. Both abilities are on very short cooldowns so can be used to get around the field and perform tech extremely quickly.

On-Ball ability: Dungy Dash

Dung dashes forward with the ball towards the look direction. (20s cooldown)

This ability does not reset momentum. Using it always adds more speed to your current speed. Its best used to add even more speed after a tech in order to traverse the map quickly.

Off-Ball ability: Dash

Dung Dashes forward and steers towards the look direction. (10s cooldown)

This ability resets momentum before dashing. If you are standing still you will get instant momentum. If you are going fast it will reset your fast momentum and then make you go the regular dash speed. If you are falling it will reset your vertical velocity before building up again due to gravity.

Tech

Boosted-dash - Getting headbutt while performing a Dung Rush which adds more momentum due to the knockback

There does exist other tech though that takes advantage of the instant momentum from the dash to affect the ball

Dash Pinch - Pinching into a ball using the dash to make it fly off to the side

Dash Bump - Bumping the ball with a dash to make it fly off in a direction

Passive: Nibble

When Dung merges a ball, Dungy Dash fully refreshes its charge.
