Beetle battles is a 1v1 single elimination tournament ran by Ategon. Every tournament it runs on a different in-game map. The tournament is split into two rounds.

The elimination round is a round where people are randomly picked for matches where the winner advances to the bracket and the loser is eliminated. Since the bracket at this point is not static and matches are chosen right before they happen, people are able to join into the tournament or drop out if something comes up.

After the elimination round is the bracket where the winners of the elimination round as well as some randomly chosen wildcards are put into a regular tournament brackets.
