Hold space to flutter, use off-ball to dash right before the flutter. The flutter combined with the dash means you will go further and faster than a normal dash. Grabbing a ball while using flutter dash can be used to perform a Dung Rush.

There is a tech named a Wavedash that gives similar effects but it usable with all beetles.
