This tech makes dung from being seen as just the basic "starter beetle" to a powerful speed demon. Dung's short off ball cooldown allows Flutter Dashes to be used frequently and consistently. This makes it more then a niche combo and instead becomes a core part of Dung's gameplay being viable on offense as well as defense.

Execution

Doing a flutter dash is quite easy and only needs a few tries to have the timing down. Click and hold the jump button and follow it immediately with Dung's off ball ability. This is tech cannot be done while holding a ball , however learning Flutter Dash is the first step to learning how to Dung Rush which allows for the speed generated during a Flutter Dash to be used with a ball.
