Gamba is a small map with a large amount of close combat between beetles due to the limited space. Dung spawns on top of upper card platforms while the nets are on the ground.

The map is in the shape of a perfect circle with invisible borders along the edges which keeps all balls trapped within the play area.

Rabbit Pathing

The rabbit spawns on an upper platform to the right of a net and lays two dung. It then jumps to the floor and then jumps to the center platform and lays two dung. Then it jumps to the left upper platform and lays one dung before jumping off. Then another one spawns from the other side and does the same on the other side of the map.

The first rabbit spawn in a match is random and following first spawns after a goal will happen on the losing team's side (if tied then the team that was just scored on.)

Strategies

This map contains a large amount of flat ground making beetles that excel on flat terrain such as Dung Beetle stronger. In addition due to the limited space brawling beetles that excel in fights for control of balls such as Tiger Beetle and Ladybug are better as they will usually always be close to opposing beetles.

It is very easy to snipe balls into the net from most positions on the map due to the open net and lack of obstacles making snipers such as Click Beetle decent as well. Snipers however have to watch out for a row of dice in front of the net that can block shots if they bounce in the wrong spot.

Trivia

• The map was named after a game made by one of the Developers, Gamba Gun.
• In the playtest this map was the only map that featured "In-Progress" textures with the upper platforms being see-through and the floor being a checkered purple pattern.
