While performing a Rewind, you can hit the grab button to cancel the Rewind. This refunds your ability and keeps you in the location you were in, but instantly stops all of your momentum.

This is less useful due to burning the use of a rewind but can be used in mixups if your opponent tries to go to your new rewind location.
