An SE4 or a BGL is a tech to launch the player extremely high and with speed. and by doing a Directional SE4 you can also move quickly in a direction of your choice.

The steps to do an SE4 are shown below:

1. get close to the ball, close enough to grab it
2. Use off ball and immediately grab before the off ball activates
3. To do a Directional SE4 move in the direction you want to go

It gives a similar effect to a Click Launch, launching the player in the air
