Skins are texture changes of beetles in order to change their base look. Instead of a regular rhino for example, Green Rhino has a green portion of the model. This lets people personalize their beetles in different ways from what skins they have unlocked instead of everybody using the same texture.

In the current version of the game it is difficult to get more skins but there should be unlockable skins in a future version of the game.

The current methods for obtaining skins are:

• Placing in the top 3 in an official tournament
• Purchasing the game Goblin Goopmaxxing on steam
• Achieving a large milestone (for example Korbital who has many beetleball videos with almost a million views obtained the KORBEETLE skin)
• Being around for an event (such as the playtesters receiving the Playtester Prototype Dung skin)
