You can perform a version of a Drop immediately after a rewind. To time it you need to tap the grab button to let go immediately after you move to the new location. Trying to drop too early instead performs a Rewind Cancel and dropping too late does not give the ball momentum.

This is less useful due to burning the use of a rewind but can be useful in niche cases such as if you are teleporting in front of a net and want it to go to the net quicker if it is about to be contested.
